How It All Began…

I have had a strong passion for photography since taking a photography workshop to Arizona in 2003.  I’ve always had an artistic side, painting and drawing in my early and late teens. I picked up my first camera in my late teens but did not get serious with photography until 2003. I have taken classes at the Art Institute of Atlanta and the Showcase School of Photography.

I have traveled extensively throughout the Western United States photographing National Parks, landscape and wildlife. Some of my favorite places to photograph are the Colorado Plateau in Arizona & Utah, Grand Tetons and Yellowstone National Parks in Montana and Wyoming. In 2007, I visited Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons for the first time and fell in love with the area. Since then, I have made more than 50 trips to photograph the wildlife and landscape.

In September of 2020, my wife and I relocated to Teton Valley in Eastern Idaho so I could follow my dream of living in the greater Yellowstone ecosystem and spend more time in the park capturing nature’s beauty. My passion for photography extends to teaching and sharing my knowledge of the area.

I love the art of photography and want to share it with others, so they too can capture memories that will last a lifetime.

I want to thank God for the beauty he has created and surrounded me with and for allowing me to fulfill my passion.
